Ready to bill your customers?
With e-commerce on hand, they don’t want you to fax or
mail paper invoices -- in fact, you might be assessed a per-invoice
processing fee for doing so. You need to send your customers
electronic invoices, referred to as 810s. Don’t
be surprised if your customers opt to pay you via electronic
funds transfers, either. If this becomes their payment method
of choice, you’ll likely get your Payment Remittances
– called 820s -- electronically as well.
