UPC - Universal
Product Code. A unique number assigned to a specific size and
color combination of a particular product. If color and size
do not apply, then the reference is to the product itself. To
assign a UPC to an item, you must first register for a Manufacturer’s
UCC number with the Uniform Code Council.
UCC128 Labels – Industry standard labels
that are affixed to cartons and pallets. These labels contain
specific information and barcodes that reference back to a particular
shipment and its related ASN, thus allowing the receiving party
to confirm receipt of each item that has been shipped.
