Can Lingo work with my trading partners?
Yes. If you are a supplier of products or services, then Lingo
will work with your Trading Partners. For a partial list of
Retailers and Hubs that Lingo is already setup for, please view
our Retailer/Hub list. If you are looking to trade with a customer
that is not shown on this list, adding your customer can be
done quickly and easily.
Will Lingo validate my partners' requirements?
Yes. Lingo™ was built to understand
each of your Trading Partners' EDI and e-commerce business requirements.
As a result, it is virtually impossible to send Documents to
your Partners if any required pieces of data are missing. Since
your Partners often charge you penalties for sending incomplete
data, this validation process is extremely important.
What type of computer can I use?
Lingo™ is what is referred to
as a hosted application. This means that you do not install
software on your computer. You simply need a computer that runs
any of the Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and an Internet
connection. As with any application, regardless of whether it
is installed on your computer or hosted, the faster your processor
is and the more memory you have, the faster the application
will process your documents. Please feel free to contact our
support team for assistance with specific questions you may
have.
What type of Internet connection is required?
Whether you have a full T1 Internet connection, or
you are using a modem to dial up to the Internet from your home
office, Lingo works equally well. It has been designed in a
way that allows you the fastest means of processing your documents,
even if you are using a 56K modem connection.
What e-commerce standards does Lingo™
support?
Lingo™ can support all e-commerce
standards and communications protocols. This includes EDI, XML,
AS2, Direct Connects and Application File Transfers. Any combination
of these standards and communications methods can be used with
any combination of your customers (trading partners), and is
managed 'behind the scenes' so it is transparent to you. We
take care of all the technical aspects, so you can continue
focusing on the things that are important to growing your business.
Can Lingo™
integrate with my accounting application?
Yes. Lingo™ can integrate with
most popular accounting applications, including QuickBooks.
Please contact our sales team for a complete list of supported
accounting applications.
Do I need to purchase an additional EDI translator?
No. While other competitive products require an additional EDI
translator,Lingo™ is designed
to provide you with an easy solution that requires no additional
translation software. Our Document Management Center manages
the technical aspects of these documents so you do not have
to. This also means that you will not need to employ an EDI
Coordinator/Mapper or an EDI Specialist.
How do I register for Lingo™?
It's easy. Go to www.myweborders.com
and select the link to register. Fill out the form and click
the button to submit your application to our registration team.
You will immediately receive an email containing a confirmation
number for your registration request. If you desire assistance
with the registration process, call 877.765.3564 and one of
our sales representatives will assist you.
When can I begin using my account?
Once your account is setup it will be immediately available
for your use. Our support team will work with you to request
and establish your initial EDI and e-commerce Trading Relationships.
How long does it take to add a new Trading Partner?
Your Trading Partners are added to your Account within 24 hours
of your request. In most cases, you will be able to start exchanging
EDI Documents with your Partners within a day or two. However,
some of your Partners will require testing with you before they
start sending you orders. Depending on the Trading Partner,
this could take days or weeks.
How long will I be able to view my orders?
While you are working on your Orders, they are available for
viewing and processing indefinitely. Once an Order has been
completed, you can view it and all related documents for one
year. You are able to view archives right from the application
at no additional cost.
Can I make changes to a document once I have created
it?
Yes. Regardless of the type of Document you create through
Lingo™, you will always have immediate access
to it so you can make changes, transmit it, delete it, re-transmit
it, or any other function you need to perform. The process is
very simple, and you will not need to contact our support to
do this.
Does Lingo allow me to create Advanced Shipment Notices
(ASNs)?
Yes. Lingo™ has special enterprise
level features that allow you to create many ASNs with a couple
clicks of your mouse. Please ask our sales team to demonstrate
how we have helped many suppliers take a process that used to
take days on other applications to complete, be completed in
less than 1 hour with Lingo™.
Can I print UCC128 labels?
Yes. You can print UCC128 Labels. In fact, you have the ability
to print these labels for your Cartons individually or in batch
mode. Is there a cost for printing labels? There is a one-time
cost to create the template you need for the correct label format
your Trading Partner is requesting. There are no additional
fees for printing labels unless you choose to use eZCom's
label printing service.
If I use Pick-Pack Cartons on my ASNs, can I take advantage
of Batch Processing?
Yes. Batch processing is geared towards the creation of your
ASNs. The more predictable your packing requirements are, the
more work Lingo™ can do for
you, thus the more time you save. I use a public warehouse.
Can they print my UCC128 labels for me?
Yes. Ask about our special Warehouse Login for your
Lingo™ Account. It will allow
you to route the labels you need printed to your warehouse of
choice. If you are using a remote warehouse, this additional
login can save you the costs associated with shipping your labels
to your warehouse.
