eZCom Software is a fast-paced environment that prides itself on excellent customer support. We treat client issues as our own, and we are seeking an exceptional candidate to join our support team. The candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills, the ability to absorb and retain the many aspects of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), and “think on their feet”.

An ideal candidate should have basic knowledge of shipping procedures within the retail industry. EDI experience preferred but not required.

As a customer support team member, you will assist our application users and answer detail questions about EDI procedures.

This will include:

Phone Support – Phone support requires excellent trouble-shooting skills, with the ability to juggle many moving parts to best assist the client. eZCom support reps do not follow scripts and must be able communicate resolution clearly to the user. Phone support also requires a great deal of follow up done though outgoing calls to the client.

Email Support – Support Reps must be able to handle a very large volume of email each day and discern quickly which require action. Out of the many that require action, the rep must be able to react quickly to the most pressing issues without losing sight of the rest.

Training – Our support reps train users how to use our application. The candidate must be able to communicate EDI procedures to users with a wide range of technical ability with equal clarity.

Testing – Our support reps assist users during the testing process by helping them create and send needed testing documents mandated by the retailer.

Administrative Duties – Maintain extensive store records, process duplicate orders, act as the first line of communication on all fronts. This may require communication with various retailers from time to time.

Education: High School. 2-4 years of college preferred, but not required.
