Jenna Colter has worked at JD Beauty for more than eight years and has seen the company expand its eCommerce operations, grow its product line, and merge with another company. But for Colter, one element has remained constant—relying on eZCom for EDI and order processing.

In 2019, JD Beauty merged with Goody Products. The new, combined entity wanted to consolidate efforts and gain efficiencies throughout their operations. During this process, Colter has had to engage with some other EDI providers, and that has made commitment to service she has experienced at eZCom stand out even more.
“It seems like other companies felt like they only had to meet the industry standard for responsiveness and frankly, it isn’t very high. People would be unreachable for 48 hours, or emails would go unanswered. The responsiveness of the eZCom team is a stark contrast, and it’s been nice to show others how much better your service is.”
Like so many of us, Colter is always trying to make the most efficient use of her time, and our Lingo software saves her plenty of it. But even though she loves the intuitive nature and automated features of the platform, it’s the people who make the biggest difference.
“I’ve always been able to rely on the eZCom team, not only for ideas to help us operate more efficiently but for training as well. That’s a big help when I’m hiring, because I know that new employees will be brought up to speed quickly and I can bring in people who complement the rest of the team,”

“Whenever I have questions or face new scenarios during this merger process, they come back with solutions—quickly. The technology is great, of course, but having it backed up by terrific people makes all the difference for me.”
